For more than 20 years, MedCom has developed advanced imaging-based products with a focus on interventional and surgical navigation as well as cancer treatment solutions. MedCom introduced the first commercially released “fusion imaging” system with integrated intervention planning for liver (2002) and prostate (2007).

BiopSee® received CE marking in 2011 under the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC, Annex I, (as amended by Directive 2007/47/EC), and FDA clearance in 2017 (510(k) approval). Today BiopSee® is in use at numerous installations worldwide
